The Alternative.
With our lift kits, you can quickly and efficiently increase your vehicle’s ground clearance.
Due to their design and extensive features, motorhomes naturally weigh significantly more on the road than traditional vans. Over time, this additional weight places a heavy strain on the standard suspension: Steel springs lose their tension over time, the ride height drops, and comfort noticeably decreases. For many motorhome owners, this raises the question of how to permanently restore the original ride height and a confident driving experience. Here, Goldschmitt’s various suspension solutions—ranging from auxiliary and replacement springs to our lift kits—offer a technically sound and practical answer. While our Goldschmitt springs are primarily used when comfort and stability need to be optimized, our lift kits offer an efficient option for customers who primarily want to raise the visual height of their vehicle without altering the suspension behavior. This creates an attractive opportunity, especially for camper vans and panel vans, to enhance the vehicle’s appearance and transform it into a dynamic off-road look.

Compatibility may vary depending on the vehicle model, drivetrain, and body type. The rear axle lift kits are designed exclusively for vehicles with a leaf-sprung rear axle.
Our sturdy lift blocks are precisely fitted to the rear axle between the axle housing and the standard leaf springs, thereby reliably raising the rear of the vehicle. The blocks, made of high-quality steel, are available in various thicknesses depending on the vehicle model.

Front-axle lift kit.
Goldschmitt’s front-axle lift kits are based on sturdy spacer plates that are precisely mounted over the strut bearings of the front struts. With a material thickness of approximately 30 millimeters, these components allow for a quick and straightforward lift of the body without affecting the stock suspension characteristics. This solution is particularly suitable for owners of camper vans and panel vans based on the Fiat Ducato from model year 2006 onward, as well as structurally identical models from Peugeot, Citroën, and Opel. Our lift kit gives the vehicle a balanced, powerful appearance without interfering with the suspension design. For RV owners who value a harmonious look and an improved vehicle profile, the Goldschmitt lift kit is a practical and durable option that integrates precisely into the existing vehicle’s technical system.

Rear axle lift kit.
Rear Axle Lift Kit. Goldschmitt offers special lift kits for the rear axle that are mounted between the spring assembly and the axle housing. These systems consist of load-optimized metal plates that are available in various thicknesses ranging from 20 to 50 millimeters, depending on the vehicle model and the desired result. This not only increases ground clearance but also ensures level compensation between the left and right sides of the vehicle—an advantage that many motorhome owners appreciate due to asymmetrical interior layouts. Our rear-axle lift kits function without altering the standard characteristics of the leaf springs in any way: The driving behavior remains familiar, while the rear of the vehicle benefits both visually and functionally. This Goldschmitt solution is suitable for motorhomes as well as commercial vehicles, municipal transporters, or specialty vehicles that require additional ground clearance or a certain degree of level compensation.

Optimized suspension for maximum comfort and safety.
While lift blocks primarily serve to adjust the vehicle’s appearance, many customers are looking for noticeably improved driving behaviour. In such cases, Goldschmitt recommends comprehensive suspension optimization. For the front axle, reinforced Coil Springs and our RouteComfort struts are available. They stabilize the ride height and significantly improve suspension performance. At the rear axle, Goldschmitt offers a wide range of solutions, from additional Leaf Springs and Coil Springs to Auxiliary Air Suspension Systems and the combined RouteComfort system with a glass fibre reinforced plastic leaf spring and auxiliary air spring. These solutions allow comfort and ride height control to be optimized precisely. Our Full Air Suspension Systems for the front and rear axles deliver maximum ride comfort. They automatically keep the vehicle at the ideal ride height, regardless of payload and road conditions. These systems are used not only in motorhomes, but also in industrial and municipal applications such as service vehicles, ambulances and special purpose vehicles, where stability and reliability are essential. Our suspension systems make a significant contribution to vehicle balance, reduce load peaks and ensure a safe and comfortable driving experience even under demanding conditions. Combined with our load rated Alloy Wheels, they also provide the basis for an axle and Payload Upgrade.
