What began with the development of high-quality suspension and chassis systems has grown into an established brand across Europe. Naturally, we are proud of the development of the Goldschmitt brand over the past decades. With continuous growth, however, a clear aspiration emerged: our systems should not only be developed, tested, homologated, and distributed throughout Europe – but also installed under optimal conditions. Three locations, one quality promise.
In 2006, the first Goldschmitt Technik-Center in Walldürn marked the starting point. The location in the Odenwald quickly developed into Europe’s largest specialist centre for the optimisation of motorhomes and van chassis. As early as 2009, the second Technik-Center followed in Polch. With the location in Leutkirch im Allgäu, the service network was strategically expanded and geographically complemented. Today, three modern service stations stand for expertise, experience, and personal care. Modern, well-equipped workshops, trained specialists, and clearly defined quality processes ensure that every vehicle receives the technically optimal and individually tailored solution. Our main customer group is motorhome drivers from Germany and across Europe – they shape the daily picture at our Technik-Centers. At the same time, we also serve customers from other industries: ambulance and rescue vehicles, workshop vehicles, service and installation vehicles, as well as other commercial and special-purpose vehicles benefit from innovative Goldschmitt Chassis Technology. Wherever stability, safety, payload reserves, and driving comfort are decisive factors, our systems are deployed.

Our specialists install Leaf Spring, Coil Spring, and Air Suspension Systems that significantly improve handling and safety reserves. The portfolio is complemented by Anti-Roll Bars, shock absorbers, Alloy Wheels, as well as powerful levelling systems and high-quality motorhome accessories. Particularly in the motorhome sector, our solutions deliver greater driving comfort, better road handling, and higher load capacity – important factors for relaxed and safe travel. Experience Europe’s largest installation centre for the optimisation of motorhomes and take a look behind the scenes of the Goldschmitt Technik‑Center in Walldürn. Right next to it is our spacious parking area with over 60 spaces and a modern service and waste disposal station – ideal as a starting point for interesting day trips.
Discover the pilgrimage town of Walldürn, the Limes educational trail, the stalactite cave in Eberstadt, the Freilandmuseum Gottersdorf, or the historic old town of Miltenberg. Destinations such as Rothenburg ob der Tauber or Wertheim Village are also easily accessible. Culinarily, regional breweries such as Faust in Miltenberg or Distelhäuser in Distelhausen invite you to tours, tastings, and regional specialities. Polch – Motorhome Service in the Heart of the Volcanic Eifel.
At the Goldschmitt Technik‑Center Polch, you also benefit from comprehensive expertise – in direct proximity to the motorhome manufacturer Niesmann+Bischoff. Polch is an ideal starting point for exciting destinations in the Eifel.
At the nearby Lava‑Dome in Mendig, you can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of volcanology. Also well worth a visit is Maria Laach Abbey on the Laacher See, one of the most significant Romanesque buildings in Germany. Just a few kilometres further, Monreal awaits – one of the most beautiful villages in the Eifel – as well as the town of Mayen with the impressive Genovevaburg, the Eifel Museum, and the German Slate Mine. Motorsport enthusiasts will find their calling at the Nürburgring, just 30 km away – whether driving the legendary Nordschleife or visiting the circuit. Koblenz with the Deutsches Eck and the cable car ride to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress is also easily accessible and always worth a detour.
Leutkirch – Your Perfect Starting Point for the Allgäu Experience.
Since 2016, the Goldschmitt Technik‑Center has been based in the beautiful Leutkirch im Allgäu. While your motorhome is in the hands of our experienced mechanics, you can visit the nearby outdoor swimming pool or explore the picturesque old town with its Kornhaus, Gothic House, and Schloss Zell. Within a short drive, you can reach the Swabian Farmhouse Museum Illerbeuren, which brings rural history to life in an impressive way. Architecture enthusiasts should not miss the magnificent Benedictine Abbey in Ottobeuren, one of the masterpieces of European Baroque. To the west of Leutkirch, Wolfegg invites you to visit with its castle and automobile museum. The historic town of Ravensburg – the “Swabian Nuremberg” – and the Ravensburger Spieleland are also rewarding destinations. Equally worth seeing is Wangen im Allgäu, known as the “City of Beautiful Fountains” and rich in historic atmosphere.
