Flexibility on the go.

Goldschmitt air suspensions are available as supplementary support springs or as an innovative full-air suspension system for the front and rear axles.

Air suspension is now one of the most advanced forms of modern suspension technology and offers a clearly noticeable improvement in comfort, stability, and vehicle control. Instead of relying solely on mechanical spring force, it uses the compressible nature of air to regulate the vehicle’s ride height and precisely compensate for body movements. Depending on the system type, the spectrum ranges from helpful supplementary solutions that support the standard suspension to full-fledged, high-end air suspension systems that take over the entire suspension function and create an incomparably smooth ride. Goldschmitt offers both variants—each tailored to the specific vehicle model and designed to sustainably improve ride comfort, stability, and payload capacity.

Additional air suspension systems for the rear axle

Supplementary air suspension systems are typically installed on the rear axle to complement the existing steel suspension, allowing the standard springs to remain in place while providing gentle support. Using the integrated control system with a standard high-performance compressor, the air pressure in the air springs can be adjusted either manually or automatically—via the advanced RHC® control system—to accommodate the load and weight on the rear axle. This allows the rear of the vehicle to be raised precisely, optimizes vehicle balance, and ensures ideal suspension travel. The result: significantly smoother handling, especially with a heavy load, as well as noticeably greater comfort, stability, and precise suspension control in all driving situations.

Full-air suspension systems for the front and rear axles

Full-air suspension systems are considered a high-end suspension solution for motorhomes and ambulances. They are installed either on the rear axle or on both the front and rear axles and completely replace the standard suspension. The result is exceptionally smooth handling, optimized road holding, maximum stability, and noticeably greater comfort for the driver, passengers, and the interior. The innovative ADC® control system automatically adjusts the ride height to the current load and also offers numerous predefined functions, such as leveling while stationary, raising/lowering, or a weighing function, to ensure the highest levels of comfort, safety, and ease of use.
