The HLC® Smart is operated as standard via a wireless remote control (left image) and can optionally be supplemented with a free smartphone app (right image) for Apple and Android devices. The remote control uses Bluetooth technology and features a compact housing and a clear, attractive design. The automatic backlight adjusts to the surroundings, ensuring that all functions can be operated safely even in low light or in the dark. The smartphone app enhances the control concept with a modern, graphically designed user interface. It not only allows for convenient control of the leveling functions but also offers additional features, information, and settings such as a weighing function, live data, event log, calibration options, and language settings.

At the heart of the HLC® Smart control system is intelligent software that coordinates, monitors, and synchronizes all movements of the lift struts. In automatic mode, the system first analyzes the vehicle’s current position and activates the hydraulic cylinders in a defined sequence. The goal is to prevent twisting of the vehicle frame, protect the body, and ensure uniform, stable leveling. In addition to automatic mode, the control system offers extensive manual functions. These allow the user to specifically address individual requirements—for example, in special parking situations, for fine-tuning after automatic leveling, or for intentionally desired deviations from the horizontal. Every movement is precise, stepless, and subject to continuous system monitoring. This combination of automatic intelligence and manual control makes HLC® Smart appealing not only for private use in motorhomes but also for commercial applications where defined work or service positions are required.

Automatic Leveling / Zero Position
The HLC® Smart features an automatic mode that allows for leveling at the touch of a button. Based on the detected tilt, the software determines the optimal sequence for extending the hydraulic cylinders to compensate for lateral and longitudinal unevenness. To protect the vehicle’s structure, the motorhome is always raised using two supports simultaneously and brought to a level position with minimal lift. This feature is available via both the wireless remote control and the smartphone app.
“Sleep” Position
As one of two additional memory positions, sleep mode allows you to move the bed to a specific, custom-set comfort position. This position is defined together with the customer during installation and saved in the system. The position may intentionally deviate slightly from the exact horizontal plane to improve personal comfort. This feature is available both via the control panel and the smartphone app. Changes can be made and saved at any time using the app.

Manual Mode
Manual mode allows you to control the lift supports precisely and independently of the automatic sequence. The hydraulic cylinders can be selected in pairs and moved precisely using either the remote control or the smartphone app to freely determine or individually adjust the vehicle’s height and tilt. This allows for a flexible response to specific parking conditions or personal preferences. Manually controlled positions can be saved as the zero position, sleeping position, or position for draining the tank. The integrated level indicator on the control panel and in the smartphone app provides real-time feedback on the vehicle’s current tilt or inclination at all times.
Retract the jack stands
The HLC® Smart enables reliable retraction of the lift legs using either the remote control or the smartphone app. The hydraulic cylinders can be retracted in either manual or automatic mode. In manual mode, individual pairs of lift legs can be specifically selected and retracted. Alternatively, all lift legs can be fully retracted in automatic mode with a single push of a button. All movements are coordinated and executed safely.
Weighing function
The HLC® Smart features a built-in weighing function for determining the vehicle’s weight, which is accessible via the smartphone app. Both the total weight and the axle loads are recorded via the lift supports and clearly displayed. This allows you to track the current load at any time and identify critical load conditions early on. The feature is fully integrated into the system and actively contributes to driving safety and compliant vehicle operation.
Immobilizer / Child Lock
The smartphone app allows you to reliably lock the HLC® Smart’s controls using a PIN, preventing operation via remote control or mobile device. The lock function serves both as a child safety lock and as an effective immobilizer. It helps protect the vehicle when it is propped up from unauthorized use and theft.
Smart weighing function for full control over your vehicle’s weight.
The HLC® Smart’s weighing function adds a particularly practical and safety-critical feature to our hydraulic lift-support system. In addition to reliable leveling and stable support, the HLC® Smart allows you to determine the vehicle’s weight directly via the lift supports (±5%). This gives you a clear overview of your vehicle’s current load status at all times—without the need for additional external scales or separate measuring devices. This feature offers significant added value, particularly for motorhomes, where payload, axle loads, and legally permissible gross vehicle weights play a central role. The weighing function is fully integrated into the HLC® Smart’s control architecture and fits seamlessly into the existing operating concept. The system determines both the vehicle’s total weight and the load distribution across the axles. The measured values are clearly displayed, enabling a realistic assessment of the current loading situation. This offers a decisive advantage, particularly when the load changes or before setting out on a trip. This allows you to detect early on whether the gross vehicle weight or individual axle loads are being exceeded and to react accordingly. The weighing function thus actively contributes to driving safety and helps ensure compliance with legal requirements, such as weight checks both domestically and abroad. And should the available payload reserves still prove insufficient, our load-increasing options offer an efficient way to create additional reserves.
